Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to be drawn on reports that the club are interested in signing Southampton left-back Luke Shaw.
The England Under-21 international is believed to have attracted interest from the former Premier League champions, as well as Chelsea and Manchester United.
According to ESPN, when probed on reports, Pellegrini said: "No, no, no. I don't confirm about any names because we are not concerned about that in this moment. We are just thinking about Cardiff [on Saturday] and not the winter transfer window.
"During the whole of January we will see what happens, all the clubs can do transfers, but I am not interested in one name especially. I don't say nothing about it."
City currently sit one point adrift of leaders Arsenal in the league table.
