Manuel Pellegrini 'to have full control at Manchester City'

Manchester City insist that new manager Manuel Pellegrini will have the final say on all of their transfer business, according to a report.

New Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will reportedly have full control over transfers at the club, according to a report.

The 59-year-old joined the Citizens as Roberto Mancini's replacement on Friday and will begin work at the Etihad Stadium next week.

Despite not being confirmed as boss, City insist that he had the final say in the signing of Jesus Navas and Fernandinho.

A source told The Mirror: "Manuel will make the final decision on transfer policy – both in terms of players bought and sold by the club.

"He will have the final say on every single decision that is related to the first team."

City have recently been linked with a move for Lazio defender Stefan Radu.
