Report: Paul Pogba will cost Manchester City £155m

Signing Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer could cost Manchester City around £155m, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly been told that they face splashing out up to £155m if they are to land Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

The France international, who left local rivals Manchester United as a 19-year-old, is said to be valued at around £80m.

It is suggested by the Daily Star that the Citizens will also have to cough up £65m on wages - or £250,000 a week - if they are to tie the in-demand star down to a five-year deal, while his signing on fee is likely to add an additional £10m to the total cost.

However, the same report claims that City have not been put off by the hefty price, and they are expected to push ahead with a move in order to beat Barcelona to Pogba's signature.

Wantaway Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is also rumoured to be a summer target for the Premier League outfit.
