Danny Welbeck claims that Manchester United won't dwell on their Champions League exit.

Striker Danny Welbeck has said that Manchester United will not dwell on their Champions League exit.

The Old Trafford outfit, who had not been eliminated from the group stages of the competition since 2005, have since starred in three of the last four finals before being eliminated in Basel earlier this week.

However, the 21-year-old insists that the club must look at the positives.

"Manchester United are expected to qualify and we haven't," he said. "It's tough but we don't want to dwell on it.

"You have to turn the situation into a positive. We have to move forward and the best way to do that is to learn from it and try and get better as a team."

The club will look to close the gap on Roberto Mancini's Citizens when Wolves travel to Old Trafford this weekend.
