Sunday's FA Cup predictions including Man United vs. Fulham

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's FA Cup fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Fulham.

Continuing their pursuit of a domestic cup double, Newcastle United take on Brighton & Hove Albion in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final showdown at St James' Park.

The Magpies edged a five-goal classic with Birmingham City to make it this far, whereas the Seagulls had to make it past top-flight opposition in the shape of Chelsea in round four.

We say: Newcastle United 2-2 Brighton & Hove Albion (a.e.t, Newcastle win on penalties)

It would take a brave soul to confidently predict the outcome of this fourth-round battle while Isak's status is still up in the air, but regardless of their talent up top, Newcastle are looking increasingly frail at the back and could be exposed by Brighton's in-form frontmen.

The St James' Park atmosphere will no doubt play its part, though, and while a thrilling contest may not be settled in 120 minutes, Howe's men should still use their penalty prowess to make the last eight.

Man Utd vs. Fulham (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Resuming their quest for successive FA Cup crowns, holders Manchester United vie for a spot in the quarter-finals with fellow top-flight outfit Fulham on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim's men controversially progressed past Leicester City 2-1 in the fourth round, while the Cottagers narrowly bested former winners Wigan Athletic by the same scoreline.

We say: Manchester United 1-2 Fulham (a.e.t)

Still searching for their first home clean sheet since December 1, Man United should not obtain one against a goal-happy Fulham side who strike multiple times on the road for fun, even if the Cottagers' defending also leaves something to be desired at times.

Backing Amorim's men to win any football match at present is extremely difficult, thanks in no small part to their unenviable fitness situation, and we have faith in Fulham to end the Red Devils' title defence at the end of a two-hour marathon.
