Manchester United assistant manager Steve Round has admitted that they were lucky to be awarded a penalty in their Capital One Cup victory over Norwich City on Tuesday night.
Norwich were angered by referee Kevin Friend's decision to point to the spot when Leory Fer challenged Adnan Januzaj as it allowed Javier Hernandez to open the scoring in the 4-0 win.
Round told Sky Sports News: "I didn't look like a penalty to me, it looked like he slipped over, and it was very harsh on Norwich.
"In the end I suppose it didn't really matter because the other goals made it comprehensive."
The victory saw United progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
