Ryan Tunnicliffe aims to follow in the footsteps of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs and play for Manchester United for his entire career.

Manchester United teenager Ryan Tunnicliffe has said that his ambition is to follow in the footsteps of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

The 19-year-old midfielder made his professional debut for the Red Devils in their 2-1 victory over Newcastle United in the League Cup last month.

"To play as many games as I can for United and obviously to try and emulate the likes of Scholesy and Giggsy," he told MUTV when asked what his career ambition is.

When asked about his strengths, Tunnicliffe said: "My will to win and desire. Also my running power - I reckon I've got bigger and stronger now so that's different to everyone else. And my tackling!"

Tunnicliffe joined United when he was nine years of age.
