Daley Blind frustrated by Manchester United's slow starts

Daley Blind admits that he is frustrated by Manchester United making slow starts to games.

Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has admitted that he is frustrated by their slow starts to games.

The Dutchman rescued a point for the Red Devils on Sunday with a stoppage-time equaliser against West Ham United at Upton Park in a 1-1 draw.

United have scored just five first-half goals in their last six Premier League games, but Blind is confident that this run will change if they continue to play as they did in the second half in East London.

"We showed a fighting spirit and the character we have and we tried to win the game in the end, but we have to do with the draw and one point. Of course, we wanted more," he told the Manchester Evening News.

"We had to score earlier in the game and not at the end. I think we could have done that. We had the chances, but not the finish.

"It's good that we're creating chances and it's good that we keep possession."

United return to league action on Wednesday night when they host Burnley at Old Trafford.
