Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has told his teammates that they should not pay attention to Manchester City during the Premier League title race.
The Red Devils maintained their seven-point lead at the top of the table on Tuesday night with a 4-0 win at Wigan Athletic.
"We are not at the end of the season yet," The Sun quotes Ferdinand as saying. "No medals have been handed out. We don't want to jump about too much.
"Last year we paid too much attention to City because it was the first time they had challenged properly and there was a lot of focus on Manchester.
"We don't have to focus on anyone else, just ourselves."
United are in FA Cup action on Saturday as they travel to West Ham United in the third round.
