Sir Alex Ferguson: 'Manchester United, Manchester City or Chelsea will win Premier League'

Sir Alex Ferguson believes that it will be difficult for a club other than Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea to win the Premier League.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that the quest for the Premier League title this season is a three-horse race.

The Scotsman claims that the winners will be either United, Manchester City or their opponents on Sunday, Chelsea.

"I think Chelsea, Manchester City and ourselves seem to be creating that little gap from the rest," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. "It's difficult to be dead certain but I would be surprised if one of us didn't win it.

"It could be a league in which you will suffer if you lose bad ones. We couldn't afford to lose to Tottenham the way we did.

"We gave two goals away and you cannot do that at this level. If we get any more of that we'll be in trouble."

United are currently second in the Premier League with 18 points from eight matches, four points behind leaders Chelsea.
