Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Manchester United have more than enough to pip Manchester City to the Premier League title.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his Red Devils have the experience to overcome Manchester City and retain the Premier League trophy.

The English champions clinched a 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, closing the gap to two points at the top of the table.

"We have good experience in the players so they won't get nervous," said Ferguson. "We showed that with a battling performance against a very good team. And we know we're up for it.

"[City] know where we are and we know where they are. We know what we are expected to do and what we have to do. The big thing is we are getting all our players back."

United's next league game is at home to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
