Jurgen Klopp says that he is "not interested" in Jose Mourinho's comments that Liverpool have been overhyped by the media.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has brushed off Jose Mourinho's suggestion that the Merseyside club have been overhyped by the media.

Mourinho claimed after Monday night's goalless draw at Anfield that Liverpool were not the "last wonder of the world" after they failed to break down his Manchester United team.

In Thursday's press conference, reporters informed Klopp about his counterpart's comments, to which the German replied: "I have no idea what this could mean. I'm not interested, to be honest."

The Reds are preparing to face West Bromwich Albion this Saturday, and Klopp has urged his team to play with 'anger' as they aim to stretch their unbeaten Premier League run to seven matches.

"When you really want to be a competitir you need to be angry - that's very important. That's how it is," said Klopp. "West Brom is a very experienced team with a very experienced manager.

"They don't want to come here and make it easy for us. I respect that. We need to be angry but at the same time patient. There is not only one way to be successful. We cannot choose their way and they cannot choose our way."

Liverpool are currently fourth in the table, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
