Porto have reportedly informed Manchester United that they will have to hand over £68m to sign defender Eder Militao.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of centre-backs over the past five months, having missed out on the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire and Yerry Mina last summer.
United have been impressed by Militao's displays in the Champions League and, according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, an enquiry has been made this month.
The report indicates that United will have to part with a hefty sum to land the 20-year-old, however, with that quoted figure required to buy out his contract.
Militao is also rumoured to be a top target for Real Madrid, while Liverpool may also be tempted to move after losing a few players to injury.
