Manchester United legend Paul Scholes insists that the club will "bounce back" from their Champions League exit.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has backed the club to "bounce back" following their Champions League exit.

The Red Devils dropped out of the competition at the group stage following Wednesday night's 2-1 defeat against FC Basel in Switzerland.

"You just have to bounce back. It's a big disappointment, but we probably didn't deserve to go through considering the way we played," Scholes told MUTV. "Now, you have to get on with it. You can't go back now, you can't change it, you just have to get on with the next job at hand, which is winning the league."

Sir Alex Ferguson's side host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday.
