Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has reportedly left the St. Jakob Park stadium on crutches following an injury during his side's Champions League defeat to FC Basel.
The defender was stretchered off in the first half of United's 2-1 loss after he landed awkwardly on his right knee when challenging for the ball.
The extent of the injury has not yet been revealed, although manager Sir Alex Ferguson suggested that it may be medial ligament damage.
The 30-year-old had only just returned to the side after he had served a two-match suspension.
