Louis van Gaal has been given assurances that he will still be Manchester United manager next season, according to a report in Holland.
Widespread speculation over recent weeks suggested that the Dutchman would be relieved of his duties in the summer, with Jose Mourinho and Ryan Giggs both linked with the post.
However, De Telegraaf claims that senior United officials have informed Van Gaal that his job is safe.
The report adds that the 64-year-old, who has spent around £250m on new players since his arrival at Old Trafford in 2014, will be handed an £80m transfer kitty.
The Dutch publication has a history of providing accurate reports regarding Van Gaal - it was one of the first to reveal that he had agreed a three-year deal with the Red Devils before the last World Cup.
