Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing Thomas Tuchel to the club as a replacement for Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman is under severe pressure at the Theatre of Dreams currently, with the Red Devils enduring their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.
Collecting just eight points from their opening seven top-flight fixtures, Man United sit 14th in the standings of England's top table of football.
Apart from an EFL Cup success over League One Barnsley at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have only managed to beat Fulham and newly-promoted Southampton this campaign.
Frustration for supporters continued in the Second City at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon, when Man United played out a goalless draw with Aston Villa.

Man United consider Tuchel as prime contender for head coach role?
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are going through their options as they ponder the possibility of wielding the managerial axe on Ten Hag.
The report claims that former Chelsea boss Tuchel is considered a 'prime contender' to take the reins from a stuttering and stumbling Dutchman.
It is understood that Man United were interested in securing the services of the German in the summer, entering talks with his representatives.
A move to the Theatre of Dreams never materialised for the 51-year-old, though, with United deciding to trigger the one-year extension in Ten Hag's contract.
It is believed that a number of Man United's other top targets are currently in managerial positions, making out-of-work Tuchel a leading contender.
