Andreas Pereira 'unsure of recall clause' in Valencia loan

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira says that he expects to spend the entire 2017-18 campaign on loan at Valencia.

Andreas Pereira has revealed that he expects to spend the entire 2017-18 campaign on loan at Valencia, despite Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho confirming that the Red Devils have a recall clause in the deal.

Last week, Mourinho admitted that he was "disappointed" that Pereira had decided to join Valencia on loan, with the United manager keen to keep the 21-year-old at Old Trafford this season.

Mourinho hinted that he might recall Pereira from Valencia in the January transfer window, but the Belgian-born attacker wants to spend the whole season in Spain.

"I'm focused on Valencia, I want to be here and help Valencia all year, but I don't know what United wants in the future," Marca quotes Pereira as saying. "I want to help and do the best all year in Valencia.

"I don't know, [the clause is] something between the clubs, I was told I was going to play here for a year and I don't know about that clause."

Pereira signed a new two-year contract with United earlier this month.
