Gareth Bale to Manchester United a done deal?

Gareth Bale is rumoured to be close to sealing a summer move to Manchester United following a poor spell at Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale is reportedly closing in on a summer move to Manchester United after becoming disillusioned with life at Real Madrid.

The Wales international made history by sealing a world-record £85m switch to the Bernabeu from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.

After scoring in both Madrid's Copa del Rey and Champions League trophy wins last season, Bale's form has since dipped and some supporters have struggled to warm to the Welshman.

During an appearance on MUTV, John Richardson, who is a journalist for The Express, claimed that he knows "somebody very close" to Bale and that a move to Old Trafford is "almost a done deal".

Earlier this month, the Welshman's agent Jonathan Barnett insisted that Bale will be at Madrid next season.
