Barcelona have reportedly been in contact with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a summer move for star striker Harry Kane.
England international Kane is believed to have asked to leave Tottenham at the end of the season following another trophyless campaign.
The 27-year-old has netted 22 Premier League goals in 2020-21 to joint-lead the scoring charts alongside Mohamed Salah, but Spurs face missing out on Champions League qualification.
According to The Times, Barcelona are among a number of teams monitoring Kane's situation with a view to making a move when the transfer window officially opens.
However, the report indicates that the prolific striker would prefer to continue playing in the English top flight, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all keen.
Spurs will reluctantly cash in on Kane for a bid of around £150m, it is claimed, and both chairman Daniel Levy and Kane himself want the situation resolved before Euro 2020 in June.
