Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe this summer.
The 24-year-old began the 2021-22 campaign on loan with Aston Villa, but after featuring only 11 times in all competitions he was recalled by the Red Devils in January.
Tuanzebe then made the temporary switch to Italy with Serie A outfit Napoli, where he played for only 130 minutes across two matches.
Man United are now set to offload the centre-back this summer as part of a squad overhaul by incoming boss Erik ten Hag.
According to Football Insider, Brighton are on the lookout for a new central defender to replace Dan Burn, who left the Amex Stadium in January to join Newcastle United.
The report adds that Seagulls boss Graham Potter is an admirer of Tuanzebe, who will see his contract at Old Trafford expire in June 2023.
Tuanzebe joined United's academy at the age of eight and he has since made a total of 37 senior appearances for the club across all competitions, including 19 in the 2020-21 campaign.
