Manchester United attacker Bruno Fernandes has denied claims that he could join Barcelona this summer.
The 27-year-old has again been an important player for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions, contributing five goals and nine assists in the process.
However, a recent report claimed that Fernandes had become frustrated at Old Trafford following Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival over the summer and was looking to leave the English giants later this year.
The Portugal international's agent Jorge Mendes had allegedly been in touch with Barcelona to offer the Catalan outfit the chance to sign his client.
However, Fernandes has rubbished the transfer reports, branding them "bad journalism".
"And I thought we had changed the year a few days ago and after all we are already on April 1st. Or is it once again just bad journalism?" Fernandes posted on social media.
The former Sporting Lisbon playmaker started on the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League last time out but will be pushing to return to the starting XI against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
