Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen to bring West Ham United's Declan Rice back to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were strongly linked with the England international last summer, but it had been suggested that the club's interest had ended when Frank Lampard left as head coach.
According to The Telegraph, Tuchel is also a huge admirer of the central midfielder and is keen for his side to push for a move during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Chelsea could offer Tammy Abraham as a makeweight, with West Ham thought to value the 22-year-old in the region of £90m.
Rice, who is also believed to be a target for Manchester City and Manchester United, has scored once and provided one assist in 34 appearances at club level during the 2020-21 campaign.
The midfielder - contracted to the Hammers until June 2024 - joined Chelsea's youth system at the age of seven but was released by the club seven years later.
