Goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly finally signed a new contract with Manchester United that will make him the club's best-paid player.
The Red Devils have been looking to tie the 28-year-old down to a new deal for months, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus all showing an interest in signing the Spaniard during the summer.
According to the Daily Record, the new deal will see the former Atletico Madrid stopper pick up £13.3m per season after tax, taking him past Paul Pogba as the highest earner at Old Trafford.
The report also states that de Gea's new contract is a four-year one, with the option of a fifth.
Since joining from Atletico in 2011, the Madrid native has made 366 appearances for United in all competitions and been named in the Premier League team of the season on five separate occasions.
