FC Zurich youngster Nishan Burkart to join Manchester United

FC Zurich teenager Nishan Burkard will move to Manchester United at the end of the season, according to the 16-year-old's father.

FC Zurich teenager Nishan Burkart will move to Manchester United this summer, according to the striker's father.

The 16-year-old is believed to have attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, the youngster's father Stefan has told a Swiss paper that his son will be making the move to Old Trafford.

"We have decided to leave the club in the summer. Nishan switches to Manchester United. He just has different ideas, that's what business is like," Stefan Burkart told Blick.

It is understood that the teenager, who had been captain of Zurich's Under-16 side, will join United's academy for the 2016-17 campaign.
