Francisco Rodriguez joins Wolfsburg

Francisco Rodriguez secures a move from FC Zurich to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg on a three-year contract.

Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Francisco Rodriguez for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old has made the switch to the Bundesliga outfit from FC Zurich, for whom he made 28 appearances last season.

"I am really delighted that the transfer to Wolfsburg has worked out. VfL have made some major developments in recent years and I can get to prove myself at the very highest level here," the attacking midfielder told the club's official website.

The move has seen Swiss youth international Rodriguez, who has agreed a three-year contract, join his brother Ricardo at the Volkswagen Arena.
