Manchester United's Jesse Lingard extends Birmingham City loan deal

Birmingham City announce that they have come to an agreement with Manchester United to keep Jesse Lingard on loan until January 1.

Birmingham City have announced that they will be able to keep hold of Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard for an extended period.

The 20-year-old initially joined the Championship outfit on a one-month loan deal in October, but the Blues were able to extend that to December 14.

It has now been confirmed by both parties that Lingard will remain at St Andrew's until January 1.

Lingard has netted six goals in seven games so far for Birmingham.
