Manchester City 'alarmed by Manchester United's Jadon Sancho pursuit'

Manchester City will reportedly attempt to stop Manchester United from signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester City are reportedly 'alarmed' by Manchester United's pursuit of Jadon Sancho and are committed to ensuring that the England international does not move to Old Trafford this summer.

Sancho spent two years with City before leaving for Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017.

The 19-year-old has been a revelation in Germany, finding the back of the net on 12 occasions and contributing 22 assists in 50 appearances for BVB in all competitions.

United have been linked with a big-money move for the attacker this summer, but according to Bild, City are determined to prevent him from joining the 20-time English champions.

This season, Sancho has scored 11 times and contributed 18 assists in 38 appearances for Dortmund, who are currently battling Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table.
