Manchester City have reportedly been in contact with Andre Silva's agent to discuss a possible move for the Eintracht Frankfurt striker during this summer's transfer window.
The Citizens are expected to sign a new centre-forward in the upcoming market, with Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane both linked with switches to Manchester.
However, according to Bild, Pep Guardiola's side are weighing up a swoop for Silva, who enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for his Bundesliga club.
The 25-year-old found the back of the net on 29 occasions in 34 appearances last term, in addition to providing 10 assists, and he is currently with the Portugal squad preparing for Euro 2020.
The report claims that Man City have contacted Silva's representatives over a potential move to the Etihad Stadium in the upcoming market.
The Portuguese, who could be available for a fee in the region of £35m, has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
