Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Ecuadorian teenager Moises Caicedo from Independiente del Valle.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League following his impressive performances for Independiente, with Caicedo netting six times and banking two assists for the Ecuadorian outfit.
West Ham United were believed to have been interested in the midfielder, but United are supposedly set to win the race for Caicedo's signature in the near future.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United are in advanced negotiations with Caicedo's agents and should wrap up a deal for the teenager in the coming weeks.
Romano claims that United will fork out a fee of €5m (£4.5m) for Caicedo, who is set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford, assuming that he is granted a work permit.
Meanwhile, agent Mario Cenolli believes that Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba will head to Real Madrid, but Solskjaer believes that the Frenchman could be convinced to stay at Old Trafford.
