Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £100m swoop for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho when the January transfer window opens for business.
The Red Devils will allegedly have money to spend at the mid-point of the 2019-20 campaign after selling Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan in a £75m deal earlier this month.
Sancho is said to be on the verge of penning a new contract with Dortmund which will see the England international's wages rise to £190,000 a week.
However, according to The Sun, the 19-year-old's fresh deal will not stop United pressing ahead with a £100m swoop for his services in the winter transfer window.
Sancho has scored 16 times and registered 25 assists in 58 appearances for BVB since arriving at the club in 2017, rejecting the chance to sign a new Manchester City deal in the process.
The Englishman has scored twice and registered two assists in three appearances for Lucien Favre's side this season, meanwhile, starring against Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup earlier this month.
United, who have taken four points from their two Premier League matches this season, signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James and Harry Maguire during the summer transfer window.
