Manchester United are reportedly showing an interest in Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo.
The 22-year-old has been an important player for the Catalan giants during the 2021-22 campaign, making 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals in the process.
Araujo has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Camp Nou, though, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent months.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been credited with an interest in the Uruguay international, who has made 61 appearances for Barcelona since making his first-team debut in 2019.
According to Marca, there is also interest from Man United, who are keeping a close eye on the defender's contract situation at Camp Nou.
The report claims that a new contract for Araujo is not currently a priority for Barcelona due to their financial problems, with the Catalan side focusing on moving players out of the club.
The South American, who played the full 120 minutes of his side's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Real Madrid on January 12, moved to Camp Nou from Boston River in 2018.
