Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres has revealed that he would like to represent an 'important club' in the future as the speculation surrounding the Spaniard continues to gather pace.
Manchester United are believed to be keen on a summer deal for the 24-year-old, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be admirers of his talents.
Torres has said that he would like to experience life at an 'important club', having had a number of conversations with Villarreal teammates that have played for the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool.
"Players who have gone through important clubs, when they talk about an experience they have had, I like to listen to them, both Paco Alcacer and Raul Albiol or Alberto Moreno," Torres told Sport.
"They tell you things that you have not yet experienced and that you think you would like to experience."
Man United are said to be leading the race for the Spain international, who has a €65m (£56m) release clause in his current deal with Unai Emery's side.
