Manchester United have reportedly been in contact with Piotr Zielinski's agent over a possible move for the Napoli midfielder during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils are said to be in the market for a new central midfielder ahead of the new season and have also been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ruben Neves.
According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno journalist Ciro Troise, Zielinski's entourage have been contacted by Man United to discuss a potential deal in the current market.
Troise, who spoke to Marte Sport Live about the situation, also claimed that Liverpool had been in touch to register their interest.
The Poland international enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for Napoli, scoring 10 times and contributing 13 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions, including eight goals and 11 assists in Serie A.
Zielinski has been with Gil Azzurri since 2016 and still has three years left to run on his current deal, meaning that the Italian giants are not under any immediate pressure to sell.
