Manchester United to make £30m Fabinho bid?

A report claims that Manchester United will make a £30m bid for AS Monaco defender Fabinho before the end of the transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £30m bid for AS Monaco right-back Fabinho.

It was widely thought that Jose Mourinho's summer transfer business would end after securing his top four targets, with Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba all arriving at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils have been consistently linked with a specialist right-back and after weeks of speculation, the 20-time English champions are prepared to bid £30m for Fabinho, according to Marca.

The 22-year-old, whose reported arrival could see Matteo Darmian leave Man United, crossed paths with Mourinho during a loan spell at Real Madrid during the 2012-13 campaign.
