Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek and Harry Maguire could leave Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offload four first-team players during this summer's transfer window, with Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek and Harry Maguire potentially departing.

The Red Devils are planning to be active during the summer transfer window, with big-money moves for a new central midfielder and centre-forward expected to take place.

The club will need to make space in their squad for new arrivals, though, which will lead to first-team players departing Old Trafford during the upcoming market.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Martial, McTominay, Van de Beek and Maguire could be a part of the clear-out at Old Trafford.

Martial has been restricted to just 14 appearances for Man United this season due to injury, with a hip problem currently keeping the Frenchman on the sidelines.

The 27-year-old has impressed during his limited playing time this season, and he still has another 18 months left to run on his contract, but the forward could be on the way out of the club this summer.

McTominay, meanwhile, made his return from a muscular problem as a second-half substitute in Man United's 3-0 win over Leicester City in the league on Sunday afternoon.

The Scotland international has again been a regular this season, but he was strongly linked with a move during the January transfer window, with Newcastle United thought to be interested in his services.

McTominay is now down the pecking order in terms of the midfield roles at Man United when Erik ten Hag has a fully-fit squad, and Newcastle could potentially return for him during the summer.

Van de Beek, meanwhile, saw his season come to an end in January when he picked up a serious knee injury.

The Netherlands international returned to Old Trafford last summer after a loan spell at Everton, but he again found it difficult to secure regular action in the first half of the campaign.

Maguire's future is also the subject of much speculation, with the Man United captain losing his regular starting role at Old Trafford during the 2022-23 campaign.

The 29-year-old has only made 10 Premier League appearances this season, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez becoming the first-choice pairing in the middle of the defence.

Maguire's last action came against Leeds United last weekend, as he was an unused substitute against Barcelona in the Europa League before missing out against Leicester on Sunday due to injury.
