Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of 16-year-old forward Noam Emeran in January.
Emeran currently represents Ligue 1 outfit Amiens, where his performances for the youth teams are understood to have alerted United's scouts.
A number of European clubs have reportedly been tracking the teenager, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Valencia also credited with an interest.
However, French outlet RMC Sport claims that United have won the race for his signature and will complete the deal when the transfer window reopens next month.
United are thought to have agreed an initial £1.8m fee for Emeran, which could rise to £8.9m in the future.
Emeran, who was born in 2002, began his career at FC Brussels in Belgium before moving on to FC Saint-Gratien and then Amiens.
