Manchester United track Subotic

Manchester United are thought to be preparing a bid for Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been tracking the 23-year-old for a number of months, according to The Metro.

United captain Nemanja Vidic is believed to have advised Ferguson on signing his fellow Serbian.

The Scot will make an offer for the centre-back during the summer transfer window.

Dortmund reportedly value Subotic at around £20m.
