Manchester United will make a £73m bid for Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben, according to reports.

The Red Devils were believed to be interested in signing Spanish winger Pedro, but he moved to Chelsea last week.

The Daily Express reports that Louis van Gaal is wanting to sign an attacking player before the close of the transfer window on Tuesday, and is keen to link up with Robben, whom he coached during his time as Holland manager.

United have signed five players so far this summer, including Morgan Schneiderlin, Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sergio Romero.
