Raiola: 'Pogba not Solskjaer's property'

Agent Mino Raiola criticises Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for suggesting that he has the final say on the future of Paul Pogba.

Agent Mino Raiola has suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should remain silent on the future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

With the Frenchman having already declared that he wishes to take on a new challenge, his future is a frequent topic for debate.

As a result of Pogba effectively having a contract at Old Trafford until 2022, Solskjaer has indicated that he and club officials will make the final decision on the 26-year-old's stay in the North-West.

However, in a response on social media, Raiola has hinted that he has been left unhappy by the Norwegian's claims, which come at a time when Pogba is closing in on a return from an ankle injury.

Raiola said: "Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer's property, Paul is Paul Pogba's. Before Solskjaer makes comments about things I say he should inform himself better about the content of what has been said. ⠀

"Until now I was maybe too nice to him. Solskjaer should just remember things that he said in the summer to Paul.

"I think Solskjaer may be frustrated for different reasons and is now mixing up some issues. I think that Solskjaer has other things to worry about."

While Raiola was referring to speculation regarding Solskjaer's job, United moved closer to the top four on Monday night with a 2-0 victory at Chelsea.
