Report: Man United's David de Gea agrees personal terms with Real Madrid

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea reportedly agrees terms on a long-term contract with Real Madrid ahead of a summer move.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a summer move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The Spain international has been heavily linked with a return to his homeland for some time, and so far reports have gone back and forth with regards to his future.

The most recent update comes from Spanish newspaper Marca, which claims that De Gea has set his sights on moving to the Bernabeu and has already agreed to a five or six-year contract worth around £4m a year.

It has been suggested that the only thing left to do before the deal goes through is for both clubs to agree a fee, which is likely to be upwards of £30m.

De Gea, who has been one of United's standout players of the season, is widely expected to replace Iker Casillas at the Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
