Roma are reportedly preparing for Tammy Abraham to return to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.
Abraham has spent the last two seasons at Stadio Olimpico after falling down the pecking order at Chelsea when Thomas Tuchel was in charge.
The England international can claim to have enjoyed a successful stint in the Italian capital, contributing 36 goals and 12 assists from 100 appearances in all competitions.
Furthermore, Abraham netted nine times as Roma won last season's Europa Conference League, and his current club are preparing to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semi-finals.
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old's second season has been far more underwhelming than the first, with just nine strikes being scored in different tournaments.
With Abraham possessing a contract until 2026, Roma remain in a strong position over Abraham's future, helped by Chelsea's buy-back clause standing at £68m.

In theory, that figure should force any interested clubs to make a bid much closer to that value than the £34m that Roma paid in 2021.
However, according to The Mirror, the expectation behind the scenes is that £40m will be enough to secure a deal for Abraham in the summer.
The report claims that Roma feel that Abraham will ultimately return to England to join a top Premier League club, rather than remain in Italy or move elsewhere in Europe.
Recently, Abraham has been linked with numerous Premier League sides, including a reunion with Chelsea who will be in the market for a new number nine.

Abraham has publicly commented on a future return to Stamford Bridge, refusing to rule such a transfer out if he ever contemplates his options.
Manchester United are also said to have sent scouts to assess the capabilities of Abraham, as have Paris Saint-Germain who could make major changes in the final third this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur will also be viewed as a potential destination if they sell Harry Kane, while Aston Villa were credited with an interest before Ollie Watkins's recent resurgence.
Abraham's record in the Premier League reads 26 goals and eight assists from 89 appearances, although an unproductive year at Swansea City is included in those numbers.
