Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has revealed that Facundo Pellistri will not be leaving the club on loan before the end of the January transfer window.
There has been widespread speculation surrounding the Uruguay international, with a number of teams said to be keen to sign him on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
However, speaking during his press conference to preview Saturday's FA Cup clash with Reading, Ten Hag ruled out a departure for the 21-year-old.
Pellistri made his first-team debut for the Red Devils against Charlton Athletic on January 10 before featuring for a second time in Wednesday's EFL Cup contest with Nottingham Forest.
The attacker will now remain in the first-team squad for the rest of the campaign, and he will be aiming to continue his involvement against Reading this weekend.

"We have our ideas, for some players we are open for loans but with some players they are not, because they are first, talented, they have to develop first in our environment," Ten Hag told reporters.
"Second, we have many games to cover and we need players to cover that. When you play 30 games in 10 days you need a lot of players. The way we put on Pellistri on Wednesday is already a signal."
However, Ten Hag has revealed that Zidane Iqbal and Brandon Williams could depart before Tuesday's deadline.
Iqbal is yet to feature for the first team this season, while Williams has only played once - five minutes against Burnley in the EFL Cup fourth round on December 21 - since returning from injury.

"That also that counts for Zidane, definitely also for Brandon (possible loan exits). So he had a bad injury, he is on the way back, he was in pre-season for the restart. Now he was in the squad, he was in the selection for Wednesday against Forest, he is a part of it," Ten Hag added.
"It's a little bit also up to him. I like him but we also have to work with it and see where his development can go.
"It's also about him to find the moment where he can deserve his chance and take his chance. But when he wants a loan, we have to talk about that."
Anthony Elanga has also been heavily linked with a short-term move away from the club, but the attacker was also a late substitute against Forest last time out.
Man United will be aiming to book their spot in the fifth round of the FA Cup this weekend before hosting Forest in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final, with the Red Devils boasting a 3-0 advantage.
