Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly contacted Manchester United regarding a player-plus-cash deal for midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Ligue 1 champions are said to be keen on making the France international, who is currently away on World Cup duty, their marquee summer signing.
According to The Sun, PSG will also consider a cash-only transfer, but they believe that they will have better luck by offering Marco Verratti as a makeweight.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is said to be a big fan of diminutive playmaker Verratti, although it is unknown whether offloading Pogba is part of his summer plans.
United have already added Brazilian midfielder Fred to their ranks this summer, but Michael Carrick has retired and Marouane Fellaini is expected to move on.
