West Ham United manager David Moyes has reportedly decided to join the race to sign Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario.
Moyes has been linked with a number of midfielders during the January transfer window but so far, the Scot is yet to make a new signing.
However, according to RMC, Moyes has registered an interest in Mario, who has been tipped to leave San Siro before the end of the month.
Both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have allegedly shown an interest in the Portuguese international, but it appears that the Hammers are ready to rival the two European giants with a loan bid.
As it stands, Mario is said to be against a switch to the London Stadium, but the Premier League side could potentially offer him a regular place in the starting lineup, with United and PSG perhaps using him as a squad player.
The 24-year-old has made five starts and nine substitute appearances in Serie A during the current campaign.
