Willock returns to Manchester United

Midfielder had been on loan at St Johnstone.

Manchester United midfielder Matty Willock has left St Mirren midway through a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old made 14 appearances for the Ladbrokes Premiership club.

A statement from the Paisley club read: "St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Matty Willock has left the Buddies and will return to his parent club, Manchester United.

"The club would like to thank Matty for his contributions and wish him well for his future career."
