Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane: 'Paul Pogba chat was personal'

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane says that his chat with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in Dubai was 'personal', rather than about any potential transfer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has played down being photographed speaking to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

After months of speculation regarding the future of the World Cup winner, Pogba was seen having a conversation with his French compatriot in Dubai earlier this week.

However, while the meeting has naturally led to further talk about a potential move for Pogba, Zidane has claimed that their encounter was not pre-arranged.

Zidane told reporters: "My encounter with Pogba was pure chance. As we know each other, we talk. And what we're talking about is personal.

"It's a conversation between me and him. We've known each other a long time."

Real Madrid have been tipped to make an approach for Pogba in one of the next two transfer windows.
