Team News: Dean Lewington makes 500th career appearance against Preston North End

Preston North End striker Jermaine Beckford misses their away game at MK Dons.

MK Dons captain Dean Lewington will make his 500th career appearance against Preston North End this afternoon.

The 31-year-old defender will hope to lead his team to a first ever home win in the second tier, as coach Karl Robinson keeps faith with the majority of the side which beat Rotherham United.

The Liverpudlian has made just one change, with Carl Baker replacing the injured Rob Hall.

Preston are still without main striker Jermaine Beckford, who has failed a fitness test.

Coach Simon Grayson has made just one change to his team, as Marnick Vermijl misses out through injury and is replaced by Chris Humphrey.

MK Dons: Martin; Spence, McFadzean, Kay, Lewington; Potter, Carruthers; Baker, Reeves, Bowditch; Gallagher.

Preston North End: Pickford, Wright, Huntington, Clarke, Cunningham, Humphrey, Gallagher, Welsh, Johnson, Garner, Keane.
