Alan Goodall makes Morecambe switch

Experienced defender Alan Goodall joins League Two side Morecambe on a free transfer.

Experienced defender Alan Goodall has signed a permanent deal with Morecambe following a trial with the League Two club.

The 32-year-old joins the Shrimps for free after being released by Fleetwood Town at the end of last season.

"It didn't take long for me to see the dressing room spirit here was something special and I have really enjoyed myself here in pre-season and really think we have a side that can do well this year," Goodall told the club's official website.

Goodall made 23 appearances for Fleetwood during the 2013-14 campaign.
