Lorenzo Insigne signs new Napoli contract

Lorenzo Insigne signs a new deal with Napoli that sees him extend his stay with the club until 2019.

Napoli have confirmed that Lorenzo Insigne has signed a new contract with the club.

The 23-year-old came through the club's youth ranks and has penned a new deal that will extend his stay until June 2019.

"The president Aurelio De Laurentiis and Lorenzo Insigne met today in the offices of Filmauro in Rome and have signed a contract until June 30, 2019," Napoli wrote on their official website.

Insigne has scored once in 10 appearances for the club this season.
